Yes, Angie Rose is the same ‘Ange Pickering from Melbourne’ (left Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare in Aug 2018), just a wiser freer edition.

Ange set up ZPD in 2005 on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung lands after returning from a year volunteering in kosta Āndhra, and worked tirelessly for the betterment of the community services sector in Australia through a decade of reforms while studying counselling the slow way, book by book, modality by modality, practitioner by practitioner. She walks her talk.

Angie is also an avid traveller and occasionally acts as a consultant for some legends in the travel biz (curating unique trips to countries she’s spent more than 6 months in, favouring slow locally aware travel), so feel free to email ange@ETA if you are connecting about travel.
